Lima – Nazca Lines – 3 Days / 2 Nights

This is a 3 day short tour from Lima to the Pacific beach town of Paracas and the stunning desert oasis of Huacachina. In Paracas, boat out to Peru’s “Poor Man’s Galapagos” and visit the stunning coastal National Reserve. In Huacachina combine Sandboarding/Dunebuggying followed by a flight over the mysterious Nazca Lines the next day. A perfect 3-day escape from Lima.

Itinerary Day 1: Lima - Chincha - Paracas

6:30am - 7:00am*

Depart Lima - We pick up directly from hostels and hotels for safety and comfort. If staying in an Airbnb just email us. Your booking confirmation (ticket) will show you your exact pick-up time (depends on where you are staying!)

9:30am - 10:00am

Breakfast stop at the unique bread oven - freshest bread in Peru!

12:00pm - 1:00pm.

Secret Slave Tunnels - Visit Hacienda San Jose and discover the jaw-dropping secret tunnels. Once used to smuggle slaves, these tunnels can be found below the hacienda, where you will also learn about a darker side to Peruvian history.

2:00pm.

Our luxury Peru Hop bus arrives to Paracas, a beautiful small town by the sea.

2:00pm until the next day.

Night in Paracas. Relax by the calm, beach or have some of Peru's tastiest seafood! You can book accommodation with any of our partners mentioned in our accommodation section below at the time of your booking or you're free to book your own accommodation.

Day 2: Paracas - Huacachina.

8:00am - 10:00am

2 hour boat tour of the Ballestas Islands. The Ballestas are commonly known as the poor-man's Galapagos, and while you are there you'll see sea lions, penguins and lots of birds all in there natural habitat. If you're lucky then you may even spot a dolphin or three on your way!

11:00am - 1:00pm

Guided tour of the magnificent Paracas National Reserve - one of South America's biggest protected desert reserves. You will also be able to enjoy the stunning Pacific coastline, where desert meets ocean.

1:00pm - 2:15pm

Direct luxury bus from Paracas to Huacachina, a small natural oasis located in the Ica desert.

4:00pm - 6:00pm

2 hours of exhilarating dune buggying and sandboarding - Ride the dune buggies up and sandboard down the biggest dunes in South America. A once in a lifetime experience in the only natural desert oasis in South America.

6:00pm until the next day.

Night in Huacachina. Enjoy some food or drinks around one of the many restaurants/bars around the oasis! You can book accommodation with any of our partners mentioned in our accommodation section below at the time of your booking or you're free to book your own accommodation.

Day 3: Huacachina - Nazca - Lima

7:30am.

Meeting time in Wild Rover Hostel.

8:00am - 11:00am

Private luxury minibus from Huacachina to Nazca airport.
Approx. 35 minute flight.
Check in and take flight.

12:30pm - 3:00pm.

Free time in Nazca. Roam around the desert city and discover some of it's landmarks like Plaza de Armas!

3:00pm - 5:00pm.
*Private minibus from Nazca to Huacachina.

7:00pm - 11:45pm.

Luxury bus back to Lima. Sit back and relax on the comfortable seats while you enjoy a movie onboard (e.g Mrs. Doubtfire / Forrest Gump / etc.). Or lay back, cover yourself up with the blanket on your seat and have a relaxing nap! You will be dropped off directly to your hotel/hostel upon arrival to Lima.
