The Machu Picchu by car tour or better known as Machu Picchu by car starts very early by picking you up from your hotel/hostal/accommodation between 6:50 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. We leave Cusco in the direction of Chinchero for the course of 1 hour where we will have our first stop: here we can buy water and snacks for the road or have breakfast as our next stop will be within 3 hours, resuming the route we go to the highest point of the tour to Machupicchu by bus (4,350 m.a.s.l.) The Abra Malaga. In this part of the tour we will be able to take pictures of incredible landscapes with a clear blue sky. From here we will enter the jungle of Cusco, heading to the town of Huamanmarca where we will have our buffet lunch. After lunch we will make a 2 hour trip through the town of Santa Maria and Santa Teresa to reach the hydroelectric station, from here we will start our 2 hour walk next to the train tracks to reach Machu Picchu town where we will meet our guide and transfer to their respective hotels according to their accommodation requested.
Trek from Hidroelectrica to Aguas CalientesWalking from Hydroelectric to Machu Picchu village or Aguas Calientes has a duration of 2 1/2 to 3 hours depending on the trot and has a distance of 12 km. This walk will be on the side of the rails of the train so we ask caution when taking pictures.

It is here that we will meet our guide who will lead you to the hotel booked in your name. After taking a cold shower at the Hotel in Aguas Calientes we will take you to the restaurant where we will have dinner and coordinate everything necessary to go up the next day to Machu Picchu.
Day 2: Ascent to machu picchu and retorn to Cusco
Today we will wake up very early to have breakfast and climb to the citadel of Machupicchu, we recommend getting on the bus and walking down as we still await the way back to the hydroelectricity station.
The meeting with our guide will be at the entrance of Machu Picchu as previously coordinated in the restaurant after dinner with the guide, we will have a guided tour for 3 hours and 2 hours more to explore freely.
Return walk to Hidroelectrica
After our visit to Machu Picchu, we advise you to go down before noon to resume the walk back to Hydroelectric where you can make use of the toilet. In this place we will take the bus back to the town of Alfamayo for two more hours, here you can buy some food or use the services as we will not have more stops until we reach the city of Cusco.
